TMD Security has introduced a security management software portfolio that includes security kit monitoring, profile management, access management and ATM fraud detection.
TMD Security Kit Monitoring provides an instant dashboard view of the status of security kits on the network, with alerts via email, SMS or mobile app, ensuring that each ATM is protected and that service calls are productive, according to a press release.
The monitoring solution works in tandem with TMD Gas Defense Kit and TMD Note Staining Kit Plus, to detect and prevent physical attacks while alerting the monitoring entity that an attack is underway.
Security kit monitoring also protects against malware and black box attacks by comparing the software and hardware on the ATM with defined versions stored centrally. It sends an alert if changes are changes are made.
Access Management ensures that only authorized users have access to the ATM via USB device or Windows software, and defends against malware.
ATM Fraud Detection compares predefined business rules against transactions to identify suspicious activity at the ATM. The machine can be shut down or the card can be blocked.
