AUSTIN, Texas and PADERBORN, Germany -- Tivoli Systems Inc. and Wincor Nixdorf GmbH & Co. KG have entered into a multi-year worldwide alliance to provide management solutions for ATMs, POS devices and other self-service terminals. In addition, the two companies plan to collaborate on a broad range of product development and delivery in multiple vertical industries in the future.
Wincor Nixdorf's new Services division will provide outsourcing services to self-service networks enabling comprehensive management including installation, operation, monitoring and maintenance. Furthermore, the partners are incorporating the Wincor Nixdorf ProView agent into the existing Tivoli environment, thereby enriching management capabilities available to Wincor Nixdorf customers.
"Tivoli brings more experience of monitoring Windows/NT servers to the financial industry than anyone else in the ATM monitoring market today," said David Murphy, senior vice president, corporate development, Tivoli Systems Inc. "Our proven track record in reducing network operations costs and providing manageable solutions is being extended into the ATM market.
He added, "The newly announced products will enable Tivoli and Wincor Nixdorf to make a significant impact on both the top and bottom line of banks, ATM operators and financial services companies."
Stefan Auerbach, a member of the executive management and head of Wincor Nixdorf Services, said that the company expects the new Services Division to achieve annual revenue of close to $500 million within the next three years.
