Authorities are investigating a string of ATM thefts in the Custer County, Nebraska area. An unidentified suspect or suspects stole close to $25,000 from the machines, according to a report by Sand Hills Express.
In the first incident, $15,000 was stolen from a Flatwater Bank ATM in Broken Bow. There was another attempted ATM theft in the town, but it was unsuccessful. In the third incident, the individual or individuals stole around $9,500 from a Flatwater Bank ATM in Ansley.
The vehicle used in the theft has been identified as a white Jeep Commander. No suspects have been identified.
