Thieves steal $2K with ATM skimmers from accounts

Thieves stole nearly $2,000 from individual's bank accounts using a skimming device on two ATMs at Wright-Patt Credit Union in Kettering, Ohio. Two individuals targeted an indoor and outside ATM and covered the outside cameras with tape, according to a report by WHIOTV 7.

They stole debit card information of an estimated 30 people who used the ATMs.

Police recommended users feel around and outside of an ATM to see if anyone put a skimmer device inside.
