Thieves destroy Wells Fargo ATM with excavator

Thieves destroyed an ATM at a Wells Fargo branch in Billings, Montana with an excavator but were unable to retrieve any cash. They allegedly stole the excavator from a construction site and destroyed the casing around the ATM, but were unable to fully remove the machine, according to a report by KTVQ.

"The destruction is horrible. It appears they destroyed the casing around the machine but were not able to get the ATM out," Maureen Jurovich, a Wells Fargo customer, said in the report. "I totally think that they thought an excavator would help them take it. I'm a little surprised they didn't get it."
