Thieves attempt to steal ATM from Lincoln, Nebraska

Thieves attempted to steal an ATM from a U-Pull-It business in Lincoln, Nebraska. They used a stolen truck to break down the door and then tried to strap the ATM to the truck, according to a report by KLKN TV.

The strap broke off when the truck drove away. Police discovered the truck abandoned not far away from the business.

The incident caused an estimated $8,000 in damages to the business. The investigation is ongoing.
