Temenos adds stc pay digital wallet to open platform

Temenos, a banking software provider, has added stc pay's digital wallet to its cloud-native open platform. With the integration, the Middle Eastern wallet can reach more than 8 million accounts, according to a press release.
With stc pay, users can manage money, send and receive payments, shop online or withdraw cash from ATMs. Temenos will handle all transactions and processing as well as allow stc pay to deploy new banking capabilities.
"Powered by Temenos, stc pay can unlock the vast opportunities of digital payments in the Middle East," Ahmed Alenazi, CEO, stc pay, said in the release. "Temenos has enabled us to scale efficiently to grow our business sustainably and introduce new products to continuously deliver new and innovative digital experiences for customers and merchants. We are entering a new and exciting growth phase, and the partnership with Temenos is key to our long-term growth."
