VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Inetco Systems Ltd. has appointed Angus Telfer as its president and chief executive, according to a news release.
Telfer, 51, assumes the new position immediately.
"Angus' appointment will allow for rapid deployment of Inetco's newest technology in different transaction and event monitoring products", said Hugh Milloy, chairman of Vcomms, a strategic partner of Inetco's based in Wellington, New Zealand.
Prior to being named president and CEO, Telfer served as Inetco's chief technology officer. In that role, Telfer played a key role in the design and development of the company's newest range of event-monitoring and processing technologies.
One of Inetco's founders, Telfer has served in several positions during the company's 21 years of operation, including president and vice president of research and development. Before joining Inetco, Telfer held positions with Bell Northern Research, Bell Telephone Laboratories, MPR Teltech and Network Consulting Inc.
