TD Bank renews ATM fleet with 'Green Machines'

March 13, 2013

TD Bank is updating its ATM fleet throughout its footprint from Maine to Florida. The FI's new ATMs feature touch screens and auto-deposit, with receipts featuring itemized cash and check images.

All the ATMs, called "Green Machines," will be backed by 100 percent by wind power and the envelope-free capabilities will save more than 52,000 pounds of paper each year.

The bank expects the update to its 1,900-ATM fleet, which began in September, to be complete by the end of summer.

"Our new ATMs are a good example of the type of strategic investments we make to create a more convenient experience for our customers," said Jim Grimmer, senior vice president, head of ATMs, at TD Bank Group. "We're also committed to being as green as our logo by using renewable energy sources to back them."
