Suspects assault employee, steal from ATM in Philadelphia store

Police in Philadelphia are on the lookout for two suspects who allegedly assaulted a convenience store employee and stole an unknown amount of cash from an ATM. An employee was restocking money in the ATM when two men approached him with a gun, demanded money, then struck him in the face, according to a ABC 6 report.

The suspects continued to attack the employee after getting the cash. Video footage captured an empty ATM and blood on the store's floor.

Police said the suspects were wearing ski masks, gloves and all black clothing. This has not been the first ATM crime in the area, as in May, suspects tried to blow up an ATM.

The investigation is ongoing.
