LONDON - Robert W. Baird & Co. research analyst Reik Read found in a June survey of 20 financial institutions that the majority are rushing to meet Triple DES upgrade requirements on their ATMs by December.
The survey found that 75 percent of FIs are not yet fully Triple DES compliant and that, of that group, 30 percent have sought waivers to complete upgrade work in 2006.
