Surveillance captures ATM rip and go at Charlotte, North Carolina gas station

Cameras caught thieves ripping an ATM out of a Charlottee, North Carolina gas station with a U-Haul truck. The individuals broke into the gas station and removed the ATM, which had nearly $5,000 inside, according to a report by WBTV.

The thieves used a rock to smash the front door, then wrapped a cable around the ATM and hooked it to the truck.

A similar ATM robbery occurred at Brooks' Sandwich House in the area, according to the report.
