Sunwest Bank appoints SVP, director of payments

Sunwest Bank, based in Utah, appointed Mike McKean as SVP, director of treasury and payments. McKean will promote growth in deposits and direct payment strategy and sales, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Sunwest, McKean served as lead of treasury sales for Umpqua Bank.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mike to the Sunwest Bank team," Robert Faver, EVP, managing director of commercial banking, Sunwest Bank, said in the release. "Mike's depth of experience in treasury and payment solutions will provide our clients additional resources unique to Sunwest. Additionally, Mike has worked in industries that we feel complement well our robust product offering."
