State Department Federal Credit Union appoints chief retail officer

State Department Federal Credit Union, based in Virginia, appointed Jeff Margeson as chief retail officer. Prior to joining SDFCU, Margeson served as SVP of member experiences from Northwest Federal Credit Union, according to a press release.

In this role, Margeson will handle all branch and call center operations, with the goal of building a better member experience.

"I am honored to join SDFCU and excited to work alongside the talented SDFCU Executive Team," Margeson said in the release. "I look forward to building excitement around sales and service and instilling a member-centric approach in everything we do."
