Sparkasse Hannover, a German bank, recently announced it has transferred its ATM fleet's IT and operations to Diebold Nixdorf. Since transferring its 450 ATMs to Diebold Nixdorf, its ATM availability has risen to more than 99%, which has improved customer experience and boosted transactions, according to a press release.
These ATMs are also connected to Diebold Nixdorf's AllConnectSM Data Engine, which aggregates and analyzes data using cloud computing and machine learning. This engine can remotely identify causes of technical problems, type of repair needed, required skills and experience of the technician, parts needed, and the time needed to complete the repair. With this service, Sparkasse has been able to free up resources and time for employees.
"Our partnership with Diebold Nixdorf has been the foundation to offering a superior experience to our customers via our self-service channel and establishing a new standard," Kerstin Berghoff-Ising, member of the management board, Sparkasse Hannover, said in the release. "We are also aware that customers' needs keep evolving and trust that the partnership will ensure we keep meeting our customers' expectations in the future."
As a global technology leader and innovative services provider, Diebold Nixdorf delivers the solutions that enable financial institutions to improve efficiencies, protect assets and better serve consumers.
