South Atlantic Bancshares names COO

South Atlantic Bancshares Inc., the parent company of South Atlantic Bank, has selected Travis A. Minter to serve as COO. He previously served as chief banking officer at the bank, according to a press release.

"Travis's operational experience and leadership skills will be a key driver in building our product and service offerings to better serve our customers. He has grown and managed our retail banking and mortgage divisions and will now focus on our operational performance to help us gain efficiencies and support our growth," Scott Plyler, president, South Atlantic Bank, said in the release.
