Source Technologies, a provider of integrated solutions for managing financial transactions, and Founders Federal Credit Union, a Fort Mill, South Carolina-based FI with $1.9 billion in assets, have partnered on a project to streamline the branch experience with Source Technologies' 6-Series kiosk.
The 6-Series kiosk supports self-service, in-store bill payment options and boasts the adaptability to support any number of applications, according to a press release.
Source Technologies customized the FFCU units to allow credit union members to check in simply and quickly at a branch and to help staff better prioritize service based on the member’s specific need.
"Implementation of the kiosk has already had a positive impact for our staff and our members and it is really revolutionizing how members sign in and how our staff manages member service," said Bruce Brumfield, Founders FCU president and CEO. "We expected to realize process improvements at the branch level, but we have been equally impressed with the ability for our managers and vice presidents to monitor member service in real time and become more actively involved in the operational aspects of providing superior member service."
With a footprint of just a little more than one square foot, the 6-Series kiosk can be placed in Founders FCU’s branches without blocking displays or impeding traffic flow. The kiosk features industrial grade, long-life components, including a projective capacitive touch technology screen — the same technology used on the iPhone.
Currently, Founders FCU is piloting the kiosks in three Founders FCU branches and plans to expand the program across its branch network.
