DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - AutoBranch Technologies Inc. of Canada selected Mosaic Softwareto provide software for a new ATM transaction network that enables banks to drive their marketing messages on foreign ATMs.
AutoBranch president and CEO John Sinton said Mosaic's Postilion product enables his transaction network to connect to multiple transaction processing systems. The company claims it is the first fully-fledged EFT switch running on Windows NT. Mosaic creates and markets web-enabled ATM and Pre-Pay software solutions.
When a cardholder begins a transaction on an AutoBranch enabled ATM, the cardholder's bank is able to provide its own "look and feel" even though it doesn't own the ATM. The same machine, through the use of AutoBranch and Mosaic technology, can communicate marketing messages from any other institution that is a member of the network.
Financial institutions also will be able to personalize information and customize services for customers at ATMs in the network.
