HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. - CSF International (CSFi), a provider of ATM/POS terminal driving and transaction switching software, is testing Europay/MasterCard/Visa (EMV) support developed by Paragon Application Systems for ConfigBuilder.
ConfigBuilder, the ATM configuration and screen design component of Paragon's WorkSmart ATM Suite, has been enhanced to support the EMV standards for intelligent chip cards, also known as "smart cards," according to a news release. CSFi is conducting the initial testing of the enhancements.
"Particularly for our customers in Europe and the Asia/Pacific Rim, the ability to add the ATM states that access EMV features is critical. For several years, ConfigBuilder has been the CSFi solution for screen and state development, so this support is critical to our shared customers," said Kathy Cameron, Paragon's director of sales and marketing.
The partnership between Paragon and CSFi formed in 1995, when CSFi began distributing ConfigBuilder to complement its line of ATM/POS applications. CSFi now distributes all the components of the WorkSmart ATM Suite, including ATMulator for desktop ATM simulation and FASTest for automated transaction testing and message verification.
Paragon and CSFi have 34 mutual customers, according to the release.
