ePaynews.com: Card-skimming devices attached to gas pumps may have facilitated the card security breach that was announced by Sam's Club in early December. Beyond announcing Dec. 2 that the card data of up to 600 customers may have been compromised, Sam's has not disclosed any further details. In fact, thousands more cards are believed to have been affected and fraudulent activity on the stolen cards to have occurred for longer than the 12-day period stated in the press release issued by Sam's.
