Search called off for ATM-database creator Jim Gray

Nbc11: The U.S. Coast Guard conducted one final massive search effort for missing sailor and Microsoft researcher Dr. Jim Gray, before suspending efforts Thursday. Gray, founder of Microsoft's Bay Area research center and credited with innovating the database systems that make ATM's and airline reservation systems work, left Sunday morning for the Farallon Islands in his 40-foot sailboat, the Tenacious.
