The State Bank of India is urging its customers to tap its automated deposit and withdrawal machines for faster cash access.
The move is viewed as a competitive step against ATMs in the country, according to a Live Mint report.
The bank's ADWMs are used the same way as an ATM with customers swiping cards, entering a PIN and accessing cash.
The bank is using the social media network Twitter to entice customers to use ADWMs and shares a 22-second video describing the machine. "We all have used this machine to deposit cash, but we can even withdraw money from these machines," the bank said in the tweet.
