Santa Fe ATM damaged after failed theft

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office in New Mexico is investigating a recent attempted ATM theft at a CU Anytime Credit Union.

Authorities found a hook, chain and rear car bumper attached to the ATM and its screen was open, according to a report by KRQE.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can call the sheriff's office at 505-351-0098.
