Safe Credit Unit donates to Joy & Kindness campaign

Safe Credit Union employees collectively donated $20,000 to nonprofits in the Greater Sacramento region as part of its Joy & Kindness campaign. Each team received $300 to give to nonprofits as cash grants or to purchase donations, according to a press release.

"Safe employees love to support our community," Amanda Merz, community impact manager, Safe Credit Union, said in the release. "They give in so many ways throughout the year through volunteer opportunities, participating in Big Day of Giving, and serving on nonprofit boards. This end-of-the-year event is unique in that teams can come together to choose which organization to give to directly and add more money if they wish."
