S1 reports drop in third-quarter net income and revenue

S1 Corp., a provider of payments solutions for ATMs, yesterday reported a lower net income coupled with a drop in revenue for the third-quarter ended Sept. 30.

The Norcross, Ga.-based company posted a net income of $892,000 compared with $6.9 million for the same three-month period in 2009. S1's third-quarter revenue dropped 11 percent to $53.7 million compared with $60.3 million in last year's third quarter.
