Romanian fraudster gets 2 years for ATM skimming attacks in NYC

Infosecurity.com reports that one Romanian fraudster, Tibenu Szebeni, has been sentenced to 27 months in prison after being convicted of ATM skimming. He also has to pay $52,000 — proceeds from his skimming attacks.
Szebeni pled guilty in August to skimming attacks he set up in March. About 26 accounts were reportedly compromised between March 21 and 22 at various ATM locations throughout New York City.
