Regions Bank has introduced a digital borrower portal for real estate banking clients.
It partnered with Built, a real estate and construction finance platform, to build the portal, according to a press release.
With this portal, real estate banking clients can view financials, upload invoices, submit draw request and track funding. It also connects clients with third parties for funding and provides email notifications throughout the project.
"It's hard enough for owners and developers to navigate construction, and we want to make the ability to access the capital to fuel their projects and get people paid as easy as possible — without sacrificing prudent risk management," Chase Gilbert, CEO of Built, said in the release. "Regions Bank is showing what that can look like. We're proud to help power an experience that serves borrowers and strengthens the lender-borrower relationship."
Palladium USA is the first client to use the portal for the construction of Palladium Buckner Station in Dallas, set to open in 2027.
"As a developer focused on staying ahead in a competitive market, we're always looking to work with groups that share our commitment to innovation," Cody J. Hunt, executive director-finance and accounting at Palladium, said in the release. "Regions has consistently brought forward-thinking solutions to the table, and this new digital portal raises the bar. From day one, the experience was seamless, giving our team the speed, visibility, and control we need to keep projects moving and capital working. We appreciate Regions and Built making it available."
