Regions Bank appoints VP, relationship manager for affordable housing

Regions Bank appointed Chase Simpson as VP and relationship manager of its affordable housing division. He will manage affordable housing opportunities in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia, according to a press release.

Simpson previously served in the underwriting and asset management departments at Regions. In his new role, he will utilize low-income housing tax credits alongside financial solutions to help housing developers, according to the release.

"At Regions, our focus in affordable housing is providing developers the resources they need to create more access to affordable housing in communities that need it most," David Payne, co-head of originations, Regions Bank, said in the release. "Chase Simpson has been an integral part of our Real Estate Banking team for a number of years. He knows our client base, our bank's culture and has deep knowledge of the affordable housing industry. We are pleased to have the right talent already at work helping our clients. We look forward to Chase continuing to enhance our approach to service and welcome new clients to Regions Bank."
