Regions Bank appoints chief transformation officer, head of consumer banking

Regions Bank, a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corp., has appointed Scott Peters to serve as chief transformation officer and Kate Danella to serve as head of its consumer banking group, according to a press release.

Peters previously served as head of the consumer banking group and Danella as chief strategy and client experience officer.

"Through the leadership of Kate and Scott — as well as the insights Dan Massey is bringing to his leadership role — we are well positioned to enhance our value proposition and grow our customer base," John Turner, president and CEO of Regions Financial Corp., said in the release. "Regions' focus on innovation and superior service extends to leaders and associates throughout our organization.
