Regions appoints head of retail

Regions has appointed John Jordan as head of retail for its consumer banking group. In this role, he will lead more than 7,500 bank associates, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Regions, Jordan served a variety of retail roles at Bank of America. He will report in his role to Kate Danella, head of consumer banking at Regions.

"Across our retail banking division, we're united by a commitment to serve consumers and small-business owners with advice, guidance, tools and technology to help people build greater financial confidence and achieve the goals that matter most to them," Danella said in the release. "John's extensive banking background, his focus on associate development and customer experience, and his successful leadership of large initiatives will help us further enhance how we serve consumers every day."
