Rain, a stablecoin payment infrastructure provider, will support USD+, a stablecoin issued by Dinari. Through this integration, Rain's partners will be able to hold USD+ and use via Rain cards, according to a press release.
USD+ is backed by U.S. treasuries and offers 5% APY. With Rain's API, its partners can offer customers digital dollar accounts with no minimum balances, which can be spent anywhere Visa is accepted.
"From the very beginning, we designed Rain's technology to be token-agnostic, stablecoin-native, and built to evolve as the asset landscape expands. Our ability to seamlessly extend support to USD+ exemplifies the strength of our platform," Charles Yoo-Naut, CTO and co-founder of Rain, said in the release. "By supporting USD+, we're giving partners like Offramp the ability to launch products that are both financially compelling and frictionless."
"Rain's integration of USD+ proves our infrastructure powers both yield-bearing stablecoins and tokenized equities for partners," Gabe Otte, co-founder and CEO of Dinari, said in the release. "Our mission is to democratize access to U.S. dollars and equities globally. With Rain, fintechs can now put those dollars directly into users' hands, where they can grow and remain spendable."
