Police in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, recently discovered ATMs with skimming devices installed at two 7-Elevens, one in Norristown and the other in Conshohocken. The culprits also placed a small camera above the keypad to capture user PINs, according to a report by ABC 6.

"These are insert devices with a hidden camera, so there would be a camera overlooking the keypad and an actual inserted device into the machine that would skim the card's data," Lieutenant James Angelucci, Norristown police, said in the report.

Authorities recommend covering the keypad with your hand when typing in your PIN and check for any suspicious items around the keypad and card slot.
