PNC, Visa release B2C "Direct to Debit" card

PC Treasury Management is expandingits payment offerings to include "Direct to debit" card or push payment service. This option routes payments directly to consumers at anytime on any day by using a16-digit debit card number and processes payments in real-time, according to a press release.

Built through a collaboration between PNC and Visa's real-time push payments platform, Visa Direct, the Direct to Debit card service fills the gap in business-to-consumer payments by providing businesses with a way to pay consumers without using bank account numbers or third-party payment apps, according to the release.
