PNC Bank announces $120K scholarship program

PNC Bank announced it will give $120,000 in scholarships in $10,000 amounts to 12 students attending or planning to attend college. This is an increase from $2,000 per student in previous years, according to a press release.
Students can apply from June 1 to Nov. 30, 2024 and from Dec. 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. Students that apply for the first round but don't win will stay in the running through the next cycle.
"We've seen first-hand how accessing higher education can be life-changing for students," Harjas Sidhu, head of personal lending, student lending and FlexPay, PNC Bank, said in the release. "Expanding our scholarship program further underscores our commitment to helping our nation's future leaders access the necessary resources they need to reach their higher education goals."
