PNB revises ATM withdrawal rules in India

Effective immediately, Punjab National Bank customers in India will not be able to withdraw money from non-EMV automated teller machines. The bank has urged customers to 'Go digital, stay safe' and protect their account from fraudulent activities, according to a report in Livemint.

Non-EMV ATMs don't hold the ATM card during a transaction and reads the data off the magnetic strip.
