PNB digital banking service to target young professionals

Miami-based Pacific National Bank has tapped technology company Nymbus to provide its SmartLaunch technology platform for a digital-only bank targeting young professionals across Florida, according to a company announcement.

"While the business benefits to innovate with a digital-only bank are clear, we needed a strategy to quickly build and operate the platform while staying fully committed to our established and loyal customer base," Pacific National Bank CEO Carlos Fernandez-Guzman said.

SmartLaunch technology will provide the necessary tools for the bank to get its digital operation up and running in less than 90 days, according to the announcement.

Nymbus SmartLaunch is a banking-as-a-service model that outsources the entire operation of a digital bank or branch to Nymbus banking experts. The digital-first SmartCore Nymbus platform bypasses the need for a technology conversion. The legacy operation isn’t disrupted and no additional staff is required.
