Plains Commerce Bank, a community bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, recently partnered with Corserv, a payments solutions provider, to offer a variety of credit cards to its customers through Corserv's Account Issuer Program. In particular, the bank can offer cards with a variety of APRs and rewards options, according to a press release.
Corserv offers a turnkey card issuing program with features such as virtual card for business e-payables, automated credit decisioning, sales and servicing portals and PCI compliant software.
"We wanted to make the credit decisions for our relationship customers and keep the credit card loans and associated interchange and interest with Plains Commerce Bank in the local community," Chris Wasmund, COO at Plains Commerce Bank, said in the release. "Corserv's Account Issuer Program enables us to do this while providing market leading credit card products without the internal cost, staff and infrastructure that make operating our own card program cost prohibitive."
