EULESS, Texas - The Board of Directors of Pi Systems International has hired a new executive management team to help market the company's 3DES Solution, which it says is a cost-effective Triple DES upgrade that works on early legacy ATMs as well as newer models.
According to a news release, Jerry Graves, an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in the technology industry, is the new chief executive officer. Graves has worked for General Electric, National Hospital Systems and MedLife, among other companies. He has served as president of four technology companies and successfully sold two of them.
Bob Normyle, the company's new president, is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of achievements in the surgical technology and managed care sectors of the health care industry including stints at American Hospital Supply Corporation; US HealthCare, now Aetna US HealthCare; and Sterile Recoveries. According to the release, Normyle has been a member of the management team of two software companies.
Pi Systems International is a privately-held company dedicated to providing products for ATMs, point-of-sale systems, computer systems and networks.
The 3DES Solution replaces the existing ATM PIN pad with an Encrypting PIN Pad (EPP). All sensitive data leaving the PIN pad is encrypted using Triple DES. According to the release, Pi Systems' PIN handling methodology is compliant with MasterCard's PIN security requirements and Triple DES mandates.
