MONTREAL - Software developer Phoenix Interactive has completed a VISTAatm software implementation project with Bank of Montreal (BMO).
VISTAatm is Phoenix's multi-vendor ATM software.
According to a news release, VISTAatm helps clients achieve hardware independence and maximize investments already made in "legacy" environments, and enables them to connect into new sources of data and information that will enhance ATM interactions with customers.
The software addresses switching, monitoring, hardware support/management and connectivity -- all in a Microsoft Windows environment that is certified on the latest industry XFS standards.
Phoenix and BMO implemented the VISTAatm product within six months of the contract being awarded, according to the release. During this time, Phoenix also fully certified VISTAatm on Wincor-Nixdorf ATMs.
"(Bank of Montreal's) responsiveness and creativity made it possible to fast-track delivery of the VISTAatm product, enabling BMO customers to benefit from enhanced services and features sooner," said Kyle MacDonald, Phoenix chief executive.
Other VISTAatm users include St. George Bank, Australia's fifth-largest financial institution. (See related story Australian bank implements Phoenix's ATM software)
