HOUSTON - Jorge Diaz, the president and CEO of Personix, a provider of communications services to the financial services, health care, telecommunications and retail sectors, recently
joined the board of directors of Cardtronics, the nation's largest ATM owner/operator.
Diaz has spent the last 19 years leading Personix, which provides plastic card manufacturing, personalization and mailing services, as well high-volume laser printing, mailing and electronic document delivery services to clients nationwide. The company was National Embossing Company prior to its acquisition by Fiserv.
"(Jorge's) business and personal accomplishments are a reflection of his strong business leadership experience and market insight, which will be helpful in guiding Cardtronics in developing and achieving our overall business strategies," said Jack Antonini, Cardtronics' president and CEO.
A native of Cuba, Diaz attended the University of Houston, lives in Sugar Land, Texas, and is active in community affairs, including board membership in the Star of Hope Mission and The Boys and Girls Club.
