PenFed CU continues next-gen trend with new Guam branch

Like recently opened facilities in Puerto Rico and Florida, the new location features an open floor plan and state-of-the-art ATMs and ITMs, the CU says.

PenFed, the credit union created in 1935 to serve America's armed forces, has announced the opening of yet another "high tech" branch, according to a press release..

The new facility in Haganta, Guam, like previously opened locations in Florida and Puerto Rico, features modern concepts such as interactive member-teller cash recycler kiosks, digital signage and onsite ATM services.

Like the Puerto Rico branch, the new Guam facility is sited near — but not on — the military base whose residents are the CU's primary users.

"The location is important because it is still conveniently located near Andersen Air Force Base, yet fully accessible to all members, regardless of military status," Kevyn Myers, EVP and COO of PenFed Credit Union, said in the release.
