Paysend expands operations in North America

May 18, 2021

Paysend, a global payment ecosystem, has expanded its services into Canada, so U.S. customers can electronically send money to family and friends in that country. In addition, U.S. residents can transfer funds to more than 70 different countries, according to a press release.

In order to use the service, U.S. users will have to download the Paysend app, create an account and specify the amount and recipient.

"At Paysend, we're on a mission to create a world without borders. And seeing as how the U.S.-Canadian border is the world's longest international boundary between two countries, we're excited to help commerce flow more freely across North American lines," Matt Montes, president, U.S. Paysend, said in the release. "The U.S.-Canadian border might still be closed due to the pandemic, but we're proud that Paysend can help friends and family stay connected."
