Paramount Management Group, Shields Business Solutions announce C-suite additions

Paramount Management Group, an independent ATM deployer, has named Jorge Fernandez as chief development officer as of June 5, according to a press release. Fernandez joined Paramount from Cardtronics, where he served as senior vice president and managing director for several key international markets.

As chief development officer, Fernandez will manage the company's sales and marketing strategies. In this capacity, he will be responsible for shaping and implementing the company's strategy to expand its current offering and develop next-gen solutions for retail and financial customers.

"Paramount is focused on continuing to grow and establish ourselves not only as a viable alternative in the ATM space but also as a leader in developing innovative solutions that help our customers run their businesses more effectively," Paramount President and CEO Randall Leaman said. "Given his extensive experience in the domestic and international markets for electronic payments, Jorge is the right person to help develop and implement our vision as a leader in the electronic payments industry."

Shields Business Solutions, a New Jersey-based banking services provider, has named 30-year employee Mark McGrath as president of the company.

CEO Richard Grossman will continue in his role as CEO, providing strategic guidance as the business continues to grow and seek new opportunities, a company press release said.

"Mark combines an incredible work ethic with an innate ability to connect with customers and team members at every level and has accepted every challenge that I have thrown at him," Grossman said in the release. "I have great confidence in Mark and the future of Shields under his leadership."

Shields provides sales and service of financial equipment, and also serves as a cash-in-transit provider to financial institutions, merchants, parking-related companies and healthcare clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
