Paramount ATMs to aid orphans in Kenya

Paramount Management Group has pledged surcharge income from several dozen of its East Coast ATMs to Horizon Initiative, a nonprofit helping Kenyan children.

June 30, 2014

Paramount Management Group, a nationwide ATM owner and operator, is partnering with Horizon Initiative in its mission to assist orphaned children in Kenya, the company said in a news release.

Horizon Initiative is "a nonprofit organization rescuing and empowering orphaned children to self-sustainability through a micro-community model," according to the group's website.

Paramount has deployed several dozen Horizon-branded ATMs across the East Coast; a portion of the surcharge revenue from these machines goes to Horizon initiative. One hundred percent of these funds will go directly toward Horizon's work on the ground.

"We are very excited about our partnership with Horizon. They are a great nonprofit organization and we have plans on expanding the program," Paramount Chief Marketing Officer Michael Tedesco said in the release.

“It is truly a privilege to partner with Paramount," a Horizon Initiative spokesperson said. "They went the extra mile assisting us in developing custom wraps with our mission statements, and running our initiative on their digital network. They are truly a class act. What’s more, we’re thankful for the opportunity they are creating to invite other ATM owner operators to join us in changing lives across the globe.”
