January 28, 2025

P2P, a digital finance platform, partnered with Mbanq, a banking-as-a-service company to offer banking services to Brazilian immigrants living in the U.S. The platform will utilize Mbanq's app and regulatory and compliance services alongside its other banking tools such as multi-currency accounts, physical and virtual debit cards and money transfers, according to a press release.

By providing its regulatory compliance expertise, P2P will be able to better align with regulations and receive sponsor bank support.

"Mbanq's support has been instrumental to help us create and launch this solution efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. Mbanq's expertise in mobile app development and regulatory alignment has allowed us to focus on our mission of providing financial tools that meet the unique needs of our users - the Brazilian community in the United States and beyond," Ramiro Silva, CEO of P2P, said in the release.

"This partnership demonstrates Mbanq's commitment to empowering FinTech platforms to achieve their vision. Mbanq provides the necessary technology, compliance expertise, and scalability to help P2P deliver secure and flexible financial solutions tailored to the Brazilian community in the United States," Vlad Lounegov, CEO of Mbanq, said in the release.
