OptConnect inks acquisition of Capestone

OptConnect, a managed wireless services company for ATMs, kiosks and more, has acquired Capestone, a 4G and 5G IoT solutions provider in Europe. With this acquisition, OptConnect will expand its portfolio of IoT solutions and expand its geographic footprint, according to a press release.

Based in the Netherlands, Capestone has a variety of services such as mobile internet solutions, IoT networks and more. It will continue to operate under the Capestone name.

"This new partnership is a key step in strengthening our global presence," Chris Baird, CEO of OptConnect, said in the release. "With the addition of Capestone, OptConnect can now significantly expand its capabilities in Europe and provide more seamless and reliable wireless connectivity solutions worldwide. Our focus remains on empowering customers to achieve their IoT goals, and this strategic move ensures we can continue delivering value and innovation on a global scale."
