OpenNode enables bitcoin conversions with Stripe

OpenNode, a bitcoin payments infrastructure platform, recently launched an app to allow Stripe users to instantly convert any bitcoin to fiat currency on the Stripe Dashboard. With this tool, companies can accept bitcoin payments through Stripe, according to a press release.

"Bitcoin is the world's most widely adopted digital currency, and we're excited to work with Stripe on making the currency available to the many businesses on the platform," Josh Held, head of strategy at OpenNode, said in the release. "The app gives businesses a simple and secure way to convert incoming payments to Bitcoin in real time, automatically or on demand."

The OpenNode app will launch initially as a public beta.
