Omaha police investigating ATM crime spree

Police in Omaha, Nebraska are investigating a crime spree in the area where criminals attack ATM workers and steal money while they are servicing the machine. The area has seen five such attacks since June 2023, according to a report by KETV Omaha.

"Oftentimes, that's multiple occupants from that vehicle who exit the vehicle and shove the technician out of the way and then steal the money from inside the ATM," Lt. Kyle Steffen, OPD, said in the report.

In the most recent incident, multiple suspects got away in a silver Ford Edge. Police believe each of the five cases had different suspects.
