May 17, 2010
NCR Corporation has announced it won a competitive bid to extend its e-commerce partnership with Old National Bank, a $7.8 billion financial services organization headquartered in Indiana.
The partnership enables Old National Bank to leverage NCR's Web Hosting Services and APTRA Online Banking solution. According to a company release, this provides the bank with a secure and scalable platform to deliver convenient online banking services to their customer base, which they expect to double over the next year alone.
APTRA Online Banking enables Old National Bank's customers to access their accounts online and perform financial transactions such as paying bills, checking balances and receiving notifications. Over the past 11 years, this scalable software solution has supported Old National Bank's sustained customer growth, from 20,000 in 1999 to more than 144,000 today.
NCR guarantees Old National Bank 99.9 percent system availability. In addition, NCR has a dedicated disaster recovery environment for Old National Bank that ensures system service restoration within 24 hours of a crisis.
APTRA Online Banking provides a roadmap to enable banks to introduce NCR APTRA Mobile Banking and meet consumer demand to manage their finances when and where they want by delivering converged services across multiple banking channels. This includes, for example, using NCR APTRA eMarketing multichannel offer management software to deliver targeted, personalized promotions to consumers across multiple branch, call center, mobile, online and ATM banking channels. It provides the insight to track and adapt to consumers' presence in these channels and their communication preferences.
