Obituary: Michael Ham, ACG's VP of sales

ATLANTA - Michael Owen Ham, the vice president of sales for ACG ATM-Remarketers, passed away on Dec. 10, due to complications from pneumonia.   During his more than 15 years with ACG, he was instrumental in the company's success, including the expansion of the employee base by 500 percent.   "Mike was a dedicated professional and a significant part of our family at ACG," said Woody Alderman, president of ACG ATM-Remarketers. "He was a major part of the growth and spirit of ACG and will truly be missed."

Prior to joining ACG, Ham managed a sales office for ElCamino Resources, as well as working for Lords Computer. The 25-year sales veteran began his career in 1977 working at Atlantic Steel.

He is survived by William and Patricia Ham of Columbus, Ga., Ida and Henry Becker of Bradenton, Fla., and Mark and Pat Becker of Palmetto, Fla.

A memorial service will be held Dec. 13 at The Mission of Our Lady of the Americas in Doraville, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Project Open Hand of Atlanta or AIDS Survival Project of Atlanta.
